From Cheshire to London Fashion Week – Cheshire Wedding Boutique

Image Mr & Mrs W
If you are looking for a fabulous dress, something a little different, with a little touch of vintage, then the gorgeous Fiona owner of Wedding Boutique Cheshire is the girl to help, she will be joining us on Sunday along with her stunning dresses and accessories.  As well as stocking designers such at Cymbeline, Sarah Janks and Naomi Neoh she is the designer behind Felicity Cooper which she is launching this year at London Bridal Fashion Week  (so excited for her!).

So lovely what will it be tea, coffee or other vice?
Tea always!
What influences in bridal dress styles do you think will be coming through in the next 12 months or so, what are brides looking for?
I think lace will continue to be the fabric of choice but I think we’ll see a move away from full lace, more mix and match pieces incorporating overlays, slips and skirts with brides wanting flexibility and options to be able move from day to evening looks. Brides are wanting comfort over structure to enable them to dance the night away and colour will play a big part in 2015 through to 2016 with mint, sand, blush and nude all making an appearance, a break away from the traditional ivory.

What inspired you to set up the business and what do you love most about running the boutique?
My love and passion for everything weddings and meeting the brides, becoming friends and seeing their beautiful wedding pictures. Choosing the beautiful samples we are going to stock and building a great relationship with our designers.

Describe your style in 3 words.
Relaxed, elegant, vintage
What would you like brides to feel about your service?
We want brides to have fun, relax and not feel under any pressure. We like to think we offer something different and we’d like to think brides and their guests felt at home.

What are you most looking forward to about the SVWF?
Seeing our lovely industry friends, meeting lots of new excited brides to be and of course the wonderful venue! A hidden gem!
Finally Fiona, please share with us one of your favourite images and why it’s your favourite.
That’s really difficult, but think our real bride Sophie grabs me everytime. She was so elegant. Sophie wore Eva by our own label Felicity Cooper Bridal. Photo by Joe Mather Photography
