The Wellbeing Farm, A Rustic Venue With Homely Charm

I hope you enjoyed this morning’s blog post from Dotty Doo, this afternoon in the secret bunker is Exquisite Exhibitor Celia from The Wellbeing Farm, a little hidden gem of a venue that we are delighted to have at the Secret Vintage Wedding Fair on the 8th of March…

Celia, what can we get you tea, coffee, something a little stronger…. ( well it is the afternoon!)?

Red wine would be nice…

Tell us a bit about what inspired you to open the Wellbeing Farm?

Reaching the ripe old age of 40 and thinking ‘is this it?’ – I wanted to do something with my life which I love, so it would never feel like work again!

Sounds pretty perfect to me! What is it that you love most about running your business?

The views – I look outside the window and see llamas, donkeys and right over to North Wales on a clear day (yet I’m based in Bolton), the variety – no day is never the same; the people I meet on a daily basis – you literally never know who is going to walk through the door….

Can you describe your style for us in 3 words?

Rustic, inspirational and of course vintage…

 

And what would you like couples to feel about your service at the venue?
That they have a wedding to remember and one which will be talked about months and months after the event. Where they felt special, had loads of fun and their wedding was unique – after all we are known for delivering awesome experiences!

We are delighted that you are going to be at the SVWF, what are you most looking forward to about the fair?

Meeting like-minded brides, suppliers and making new contacts. Meeting individuals and couples who appreciate what we are trying to achieve at the farm and appreciate the uniqueness of our venue.

Finally , please tell us about this image below, why is it so special to you?
I love this image with the straw bales, it’s my favourite as I purchased all the crochet blankets from an old lady who knits them by hand and is thrilled about how we are using her blankets.

Aw, I love it too, I remember my grandma making blankets like those!  Thanks Celia for telling us a little about your beautiful venue,  I can’t wait to find out more.
