I am so delighted that Kate Beaumont will be exhibiting with us on Sunday, her dresses are stunning, no other word for it and she also has a collection of divine vintage originals for the bride seeking the one! She is also very lovely and we cannot wait to welcome her to Manchester for The Secret Vintage Wedding Fair! (Don’t forget your tickets for Sunday, Kate will be doing a catwalk show along with our other beautiful wedding dress boutique. )

Ooh I love choccy biscuits! So what inspired you to set up your business?
After making my best friend’s and my own wedding dress I realised there was an opportunity to specialise in vintage-inspired and original vintage gowns for brides not based (or wanting to travel) to London.

What is it that you love most about running your business?
Getting to meet so many lovely women at such an incredibly special time in their lives. Making someone’s wedding dress is such a wonderful and personal experience, and I’ve been lucky enough to make some great friends along the way.

How would you describe your style in 3 words?
My dresses are my take on elegant modern vintage

What would you like couples to feel about your service?
That I made the bride feel happy and comfortable at every fitting, and that the result was a dress that she loves, that suits her and fits her perfectly.

We are looking forward to seeing your beautiful dress, what are you most looking forward to about the SVWF?
Meeting lots of lovely Manchester brides! It will be the first time I’ve exhibited in Manchester so I’m looking forward to hearing what people think of my dresses.

 I love this photo of my beautiful model (and friend) Grace laughing at our last photoshoot. She’s wearing Honeysuckle which is my own wedding dress and looks amazing in it, and I love how this shot catches her off guard – showing her real face and not her model face!
